About So You Think You Can Dance
So You Think You Can Dance is a reality TV show created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe that airs on Fox. Each season, dancers from around the country audition in various cities and ultimately in Las Vegas to get a spot in the Top 20. Once dancers are in the Top 20, they perform each week for the TV audience who in terms votes for their favorite Dancer. The dancer who manages to avoid elimination and gather the most votes at the finale from the viewers will then be crowned America's Favorite Dancer.
This week, we say goodbye to ballroom dancer Serge Onik, hip-hop dancer Teddy Coffey, and contemporary dancers Emily James and Carly Blaney. Serge and Carly danced a Jean-Marc Genereux Quickstep to "A Cool Cat in Town" by Tape Five feat. Brenda Boykin. Teddy and Emily danced a Warren Carlyle Broadway "From This Moment On" from Kiss Me Kate. Double eliminations are never fun and tonight, the judged had an especially hard time deciding who to send home. Unfortunately, the routines of tonight were not enough to save Serge, Carly, Teddy, and Emily, despite their impressive solos.
